About WebToolsMe

WebToolsMe is an independent project building free, lightweight widgets for websites. Our goal is to let site owners show useful, live information to their visitors without writing code or creating an account.

What we do

Each widget is designed to do one job well, is configured visually and is added to a site with a single line of code. Our first widget shows current weather and up to a 7-day forecast for any city in the world. New widgets are added as they are ready.

Our principles

• Free, no account: You never need to register or pay to use the widgets.
• Light and isolated: Widgets load after your content and run in their own sealed box, so they never break your design.
• Privacy-friendly: We don't use advertising scripts, and the widgets contain no tracking code. See the privacy policy for details.
• Multilingual: Widgets are available in 19 languages, chosen independently of your site's language.

Data sources

Weather forecasts come from the Norwegian Meteorological Institute (MET Norway) and are used under the CC BY 4.0 licence. City and country lists are based on GeoNames data (CC BY 4.0). The Manrope typeface used on this site is licensed under the SIL Open Font License.
